1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ANA — whether via WhatsApp or the dashboard at myana.ai — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use ANA.

2. Description of Service

ANA is an AI-powered personal assistant accessible via WhatsApp and a web dashboard at myana.ai. ANA's core capabilities include:

  • Reading your Gmail (with explicit permission) to extract useful information like orders, subscriptions, and transactions
  • Managing your Google Calendar — reading events and creating new ones
  • Sending proactive WhatsApp messages including reminders, briefings, and check-ins
  • Tracking medicines, todos, and personal notes

ANA is not a replacement for professional financial, medical, or legal advice. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

3. Account & Access

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use ANA.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
  • One ANA account per person. Multiple accounts for the same person are not permitted.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use ANA.

4. Acceptable Use

When using ANA, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to extract ANA's system prompts, internal instructions, or underlying model details
  • Use ANA for any illegal activities or to facilitate illegal activities
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Abuse the WhatsApp messaging channel with spam or automated bulk messages
  • Use ANA to generate harmful, abusive, or deceptive content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape ANA's infrastructure

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of ANA is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

  • You retain ownership of all your personal data
  • We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated, non-identifiable analytics to improve ANA
  • You can export or delete your data at any time

6. AI Limitations & Accuracy

ANA is powered by AI and has inherent limitations. Please be aware:

  • ANA may occasionally provide incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information
  • Financial data (spending summaries, subscription amounts) is extracted from email text and may not be 100% accurate — always verify with your bank or service provider
  • Calendar events and reminders depend on Google Calendar and may be affected by Google service outages
  • ANA does not provide medical advice — medicine tracking is a convenience reminder feature only, not medical guidance. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
  • Always verify critical information independently before acting on it

7. Service Availability

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
  • ANA may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to third-party service outages (Google, Twilio, Anthropic)
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • The free tier may have usage limits which we may adjust over time

8. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing hello@myana.ai
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days

9. Limitation of Liability

  • ANA is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We are not liable for decisions you make based on information provided by ANA
  • We are not liable for missed reminders, calendar errors, or email parsing mistakes
  • Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the total fees you paid in the preceding 12 months (or ₹0 for free tier users)

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or WhatsApp at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of ANA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
